RCFC conducts Early Identification Camp at various districts of West Bengal for identifying children with deformities. The social welfare department of RCFC conducts these camps. The key objective behind this programme is not only to identify children with locomotor disabilities but also to develop an understanding about disability and an attitude of sensitivity and empathy towards the disabled. 10 Early Identification Camps were conducted during the year 2017-18 where 256 patients were assessed, out of which 115 patients were referred to RCFC for treatment and rehabilitation. The camps were conducted in rural areas like Birbhum, Midnapore(E), 24 Parganas(S) and Howrah.
