A school for residential children was formed to provide all-round education during their stay at RCFC as well as for holistic child development. RCFC provides non-formal education and pre-vocational training to the centre inmates admitted for treatment. Non-formal education is through joyful learning methods where children learn the basics through story-telling, theatre, songs, animations, puppet shows etc. As the rehab process extends over several months, these activities help the children to stay connected with education so that they are not left behind when they return home and rejoin school after a long hiatus. RCFC children also participated in various sit and draw competitions, sports and performed in several cultural programs in and outside RCFC. Foreign volunteers are actively associating with this department round the year and they also help us in bringing in funds from various institutions for child development.
